Nature and Scope
The Senior Data Scientist will work on a team of collaborative, advanced-degreed, highly knowledgeable specialists who apply Data Science to increase productivity at Air Products. You will contribute ideas to AI/ML strategy at Air Products and effectively implement improvement opportunities using AI/ML leading to business success and growth. You will also work with business partners to drive adoption of models you build. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Expert practitioner in AI/ML, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and related fields
  • Technical individual contributor on the Data Science Team
  • Learn continuously to stay current on cutting-edge AI/ML technology
  • Identify and understand business problems, define data requirements, formulate, build, and communicate AI/ML solutions concisely
  • Contribute to development of MLOps platform
  • Bring Data Science perspective working with Product Management Team to design and create self-service solutions for business clients leveraging products built on the MLOps platform
  • Foster a strong network with business and functional partners to drive AI/ML adoption

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise using Deep Learning in applications such as image analysis
  • Experience in Generative AI including Retrieval Augmented Generation using Large Language Models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a translator of complex technical topics to simple language with business partners
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners to drive adoption
  • Geographic Information Systems experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to tackle meaningful problems
  • Valid Drivers' License and good driving record required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR products, including their integration with existing tools, utilizing them to elevate existing Security Operations
  • Design and optimize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) rules using FortiSIEM to enhance threat detection and streamline incident response activities
  • Deploy and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, specifically FortiEDR, SentinelOne, and Defender for Endpoint to identify and mitigate endpoint threats effectively
  • Design and implement automated security use cases and playbooks to accelerate incident response and remediation
  • Assist in overseeing the implementation and management of API security measures, ensuring secure data transmission and compliance with industry-standard API security protocols

  • Develop, maintain, and automate client-facing reports using our existing security tools. The Thematic Investing Client Experience team is looking for a talented technical hands-on Software Developer to build internal and external client-facing interactive web components. This position will be focused on contributing to a trading component team in development practices, operational standards, platform evolution and platform resiliency. This role will require a high level of responsibility and accountability, and yet has a support structure vital for development growth while continuing to build and grow our Thematic Investing platforms.

We are looking for a motivated mid-level software engineer with strong skills in JavaScript, Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and test automation. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and refactoring core client services, with a focus on both feature development and testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end testing and will play a key role in delivering high-quality software through robust test automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years professional experience in software engineering
  • 3+ years of Java and JavaScript
  • 3+ years of test-driven development and quality automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular, with experience in developing reusable components and services.
  • Solid knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for backend development, with an understanding of API design and maintenance. Experience in end-to-end testing frameworks such as WebDriver and Selenium.
  • Familiarity with test automation practices and tools.
